How to Record SexLikeReal with CaptureGem

Download CaptureGem for Windows, macOS or Linux and open the desktop app. Use CaptureGem 2.14.14 or later: versions 2.14.12 through 2.14.14 fixed several kinds of VR recording that used to fail to convert.

Open the model's cam page from SexLikeReal's VR cam girls page and copy the address, such as https://www.sexlikereal.com/vr-cam-girls/model_label.

The last part of the address is the model's label, which CaptureGem uses to find the show. Capitalization doesn't matter.

On the Record tab, paste the link into Enter URL or Username in the Add Stream panel, and CaptureGem selects SexLikeReal for you. You can also choose SexLikeReal under Select Website and type just the label.

Leave Monitor Only switched off so the stream is saved, then click Add Stream.

When the model is broadcasting in VR, the status switches to Recording within a few seconds. If not, the Status column tells you why:

• Private: the model is in a private show.
• Offline: the model is offline or away. A misspelled label also shows Offline, so copy the label from the model's page if a live model stays offline.
• Errored ("video3D URL not found"): the model is online but isn't sending a VR stream. CaptureGem records SexLikeReal's VR stream only.

Hover over a status for more detail, including the reason behind an Errored status.

When a recording ends, CaptureGem processes it into a finished video file. Long recordings can take a little while.

• Open the Review tab to play, trim, tag or delete the recording, or click Open Video Folder on the Record tab.
• Recordings are saved as MP4 files by default.
• With Premium, each file is up to 60 minutes long by default, and auto-record starts the next file straight away.
• The save location, the file length (Cap Video Segments at Duration (Minutes)) and the file container can all be changed in Settings.

• Free: saves up to 5 minutes per recording and lets you add up to 10 models. A model is recorded when you add or start them while they're live, so if they were offline, start the recording again later.
• Premium: removes those limits and adds auto-record. Select the model on the Record tab, choose Modify Auto Record under Actions, then pick Record Always. CaptureGem then records whenever the model comes online and restarts after a disconnect. Compare plans.
• To auto-record every model you add from now on, turn on Auto Record All Newly Added Models in Settings (Premium).

The Monitor tab shows live previews of everything you're recording.

VR recordings are side-by-side MP4 files whose names end in _F120_LR: a 120-degree fisheye picture with the left-eye and right-eye views next to each other.

Any VR video app that can open files from your computer can play them. In HereSphere (available on Steam), open the advanced settings, choose Fisheye and side-by-side (SBS), set the field of view to 120 degrees, and set the aspect ratio to auto so the picture isn't stretched.

• Open In BrowserFor SexLikeReal models, Open In Browser opens the SexLikeReal home page rather than the model's page.
• BandwidthSexLikeReal sends a single high-resolution VR stream, so Max Resolution Per Site doesn't change these recordings. Monitor Only downloads the full VR stream too, so it uses as much bandwidth as recording.
• ThumbnailsPreview images in the Review and Monitor tabs show only the left eye of the VR picture.
• Dropped connectionsIf the stream disconnects, CaptureGem reconnects straight away and carries on in a new part, and the parts are joined into one video when the recording is converted. If recordings keep stopping early, check your connection speed or raise Network Timeout (Seconds) in Settings > Advanced Settings.
• Recording doesn't convertUpdate to the latest version first, because recent versions repair many damaged VR recordings. A broadcast that never sends a complete picture can't be converted.

If a recording keeps failing, update CaptureGem, check that the stream plays in your browser, and ask in the CaptureGem Discord community. Premium members can also send a failed recording to support.
