The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a United States copyright law that implements two 1996 treaties of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). It also heightens the penalties for copyright infringement on the Internet.

Steps to send a takedown notice:

5. Sign the notice digitally or physically.

If you believe that your content should not have been removed for alleged copyright infringement, you may send us a DMCA counter-notification.
